1. Eligibility:
    The drawing is open to all local Veterans residing in Elko, NV, who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
  2. How to Enter:
    Eligible participants may enter by completing the entry form on the Elko Veteran Corps website during the entry period.
  3. Entry Period:
    Entries will be accepted starting Wednesday, July 30, 2025, through Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
  4. Number of Winners:
    Six winners will be selected in total: two winners for each day of the Ruby Mountain Balloon Festival — Friday, September 19; Saturday, September 20; and Sunday, September 21, 2025.
  5. Winner Selection:
    Winners will be chosen by random drawing on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
  6. Notification:
    Winners will be notified via email. Once all winners have been confirmed, the Elko Veteran Corps will publicly announce the winners on its website and social media channels.
  7. Prize:
    Each winner will receive a spot on the crew and a hot air balloon ride on the POW/MIA balloon during the 2025 Ruby Mountain Balloon Festival. Prize rides cannot be sold or transferred.
  8. Conditions for Participation:
    Winners must be physically able to ride in a hot air balloon, attend a mandatory safety briefing, and sign any required waivers provided by the balloon pilot.
  9. Entry Limit:
    Limit one entry per person.
  10. Alternate Winners:
    If a winner is disqualified or deemed ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing.
  11. Costs and Fees:
    There are no costs or fees to participate in the prize activities.
  12. Liability Disclaimer:
    The Elko Veteran Corps is not responsible for any accidents, weather-related cancellations, event cancellations, or any circumstances beyond its control.
  13. Privacy:
    Participant information will be used solely for contest administration and will not be shared with third parties. Participants may opt-in to receive future communications from the Elko Veteran Corps regarding upcoming events.
  14. Legal:
    The contest is void where prohibited by law.
